Morales Speaks on Estate Planning Options to Simplify Your Client’s Philanthropy

Shareholder Eduardo Morales was a presenter at the Webb County Bar Association Luncheon Seminar sponsored by the Laredo Area Community Foundation held on January 26, 2016 in Laredo, Texas. Eduardo spoke on “Rational Estate Planning Options to Simplify Your Client’s Philanthropy.” In 2015 total charitable giving in the U.S. was $358.38 billion (2% of GDP—a percentage which has remained steady since 2010). Donations from individuals, bequests and family foundations totaled 90% of all charitable giving. The focus of this presentation was to provide professional advisors with the background necessary to counsel their clients on the options available to them to implement their philanthropic goals.

Eduardo’s practice focuses on estate planning, charitable entity formation and advising and counseling charitable entities. Eduardo also dedicates a substantial part of his practice to fiduciary litigation including will contests, trust disputes and contested guardianship proceedings.
